Our second public night: an Asian-heritage pub quiz at Dalbhat, born from the sense that Berlin’s quiz nights skewed too Europe-centric. Guests played in randomly assigned teams so meeting people was part of the design — doors at 7:00, trivia from about 7:30.

Rounds mixed politics, geography, entertainment, pop culture, photography, and history with sensory challenges (spice and seed identification among them). Live music interludes kept energy up between questions; Robert’s set stood out in the debrief as a highlight. Food and drink were available to buy; prizes included a Dalbhat voucher and goodie bags.

The night sold out at roughly mid-thirties capacity and became the template the collective still cites for a manageable, recurring kind of evening — competitive enough to bond over, warm enough that people stayed late just to talk.
