Beats and Bites

Beats and Bites was the first public Phool Maya Collective event — a Nepali indie live set by Aman Karna paired with Dalbhat food and drinks in Wilmersdorf. Capacity sat around thirty; tickets were €15 including a free drink. Berliner Berg donated beer crates. Standing tables, plants, lights, and a projector loop set a dance-leaning vibe with a neighbor-friendly end around 10 PM.

The night grew out of a short Berlin window for Aman and a venue lock with Dalbhat (Rohit helped cover the space). Digital posters, WhatsApp invites, and Instagram built a sold-out-feeling first show; day-of sound check and an after-two-songs pause for thanks and introductions framed the set.

It established the collective’s name, Instagram presence, PayPal ticketing pattern, and partnership with Dalbhat — music and food together, because the best conversations happen with a plate in one hand and a beat in the background.
